Ingredients:

1 cup boiled chicken breast, shredded (swap out protien for your Metabolic Balance plan)

½ red bell pepper (capsicum), sliced

1 cup blanched broccoli florets, chopped
-
½ cup red cabbage, shredded
-
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
-
1 whole dry red chili, roasted and coarsely crushed (optional for heat)

1 tsp cold-pressed olive oil
-
⅛ tsp unrefined sea salt
-
⅛ tsp freshly ground black pepper

Optional: 1 tsp ground buckwheat flour or crushed Ryvita cracker to thicken if desired
Method:

In a mortar and pestle, pound the garlic and roasted chili together to form a paste. Set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large pan or wok. Add the garlic-chili paste and sauté for 30–60 seconds until aromatic.

Add the broccoli, bell pepper, and shredded cabbage. Stir-fry on high heat for 3–4 minutes until vegetables are lightly cooked but still crisp.

Stir in ground buckwheat flour (if using) to lightly thicken any cooking liquid.

Add protein, salt, and pepper. Gently toss to combine and heat through.

Serve hot, ideally with a side of leafy greens or a spoon of fermented vegetables if tolerated.
